The Motorola Milestone was launched late last year and apparently many
consumers find this device to be something impressive. However, after almost a year after its release some strongly believes that this device already needs an update. And getting into the picture just recently is the Motorola Milestone 2, which is apparently the updated version of the original Milestone and the GSM version of the Droid 2. If you have experienced handling the Droid 2, it will then give you basically the same experience when handling the Milestone 2.
The Motorola Milestone 2 comes with a faster processor, a much improved keyboard, higher internal memory capacity together with an Android 2.2 operating system, a full Flash support and HD video capture. This new smartphone also follows the usual Moto’s tradition of being a simple rebadged. However, it has managed to stay away from its traditional Droid naming scheme. This new phone comes with a 1GHz processor, which is believed to be one of the significant improvements made on the said handset. In addition to this, the 133MB memory which causes some problems in the loading of applications in the previous version of this handset is now increased to 8GB. The Milestone 2 also includes the Google turn-by-turn navigation feature that is very useful for those consumers who loves to travel a lot. Motorola have also added their MOTOBLUR service that will allow its users to keep track of their
contacts as well as their favorite networking sites. What’s even more exciting about it is the device ability to turn into a
wireless hotspot and support up to 5 devices. Apparently, this feature was not present in the original Milestone.

By simply looking at these features and specs, it appears
that the Milestone 2 is a very promising and quite impressive device to look forward to. Motorola must be really serious into reaching a real sales success with the Motorola Milestone 2. The Milestone 2 is expected to be available on the European market before the year ends. However, as of this time there is no available information yet on how much this device will be offered. There were some who believes that it will be offered at around €500 when it hits
